Here is a "behind the scenes" look at using chroma key or luma key.

It is a simple technique and the effect is integrated as a feature in most popular video editing software or can be added as a separate plug in.

My workflow is real time using Adobe After Effects.  It really is that easy and lots of fun. TRY IT!

I had the good fortune of having my niece stay with me through the holidays.  She loves to sing and asked me to try to make a music video of her performing a classic latin love song.  I thought this would be a good way to test the new JVC GYHM100U. She seems pleased with the results.  I hope to do some more projects soon.  This one was improvised with masking tape and a green bed sheet to key the urban backgrounds in.  I hope to DIY some more equipment soon.  EXCITING!
